How to:

Step 1: First take the smoothen clay  & Knead well, you can apply oil on your hand in order to avoid the clay from sticking in your hand. Make the clay flat by rolling it with rounded bar. Now take the Water can  cap or some other box cap to get the shape of your desire, here I took the rounded shaped cap of the water can and press it on the flatten clay and remove the unwanted side clays with the carving tool. Now you get round shaped Clay pendant.

Step 2:  Now Make an umbrella shape (jhumkas  shape) using the quilling mould, Then place the umbrella shape clay over the Round shaped pendant using three cut head pins / eye pins.

Step 3: Then Make more small beads and place it around the umbrella shaped clay using cut head pins / eye pins.

Step 4: Now again flatten the clay and make a round shaped button using the fevi stick cap and make a hole in the middle using tool pin, then place the round shaped button at the top of the rounded shaped pendant.

Step 5:Then make some more small beads and place it around the rounded shaped pendant using cut head pins / eye pins.

Step 6: Then make designs on your own over the pendant  & the button as per your desire to have an enhanced effect using the carving tool or any other property. Here I used a syringe and a carving tool. Impressions can also be done by using pen cap, shells, toothpaste cap, bangle etc……

Step 7: Lastly, make a medium sized beads of around 34 nos to make a garland & hole them using a long tool pin.
